In plain words

When grace brings you the Guru, and you hold the One in wonder, something in you lights up with amazement.

Nanak says: peace settles in. You feel steady and at ease, and a quiet, deep joy hums through you like music.

When you are at ease inside, a quiet joy hums through everything.
The deeper layer

Grace brings the Guru, and the Guru brings wonder.

Prabh kirpaa tay gur milay — by God's grace, one meets the Guru; har har bismaad — and the One fills you with wonder. Sookh sahj naanak anand taa kai pooran naad — Nanak says, peace, poise and joy come, and a perfect music plays within. Sahj means natural ease, and Bilaaval lands right there.

A Question to Sit With

When do you feel most peaceful and steady inside?
