Love, consciousness, the breath of life, wealth and everything, O Nanak, are in the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan. ||4||10||40||

In plain words

Body and mind cool right down, like a fever finally breaking. And all at once you feel free — light, unburdened.

Nanak says: your love, your attention, the very breath in you, everything you have — it all gathers around one glad thing, the sight of the One.

Letting go cools you down like a fever finally breaking.
The deeper layer

Body and mind cool down, and freedom comes.

Tan man seetal bha-ay — body and mind became cool. Seetal means cool and soothed, and this relief is a favorite ending in Raag Bilaaval. Ab muktay sansaaree — now I am free, even while living in the world.

Then everything gathers in one place. Love, attention, breath and all one has rest in darsaaree, the sight of the One. Think of a fever breaking after a long night. The whole body relaxes at once.

A Question to Sit With

What is something that cools you down and settles you when you are overheated inside?
