Whatever You attach me to, to that I am attached; I have burnt away all my cleverness.

You are permeating and pervading everywhere, O my Lord, Merciful to the meek. ||3||

In plain words

Wherever life places me, that is where I will give my all — I have let go of trying to out-clever everything.

Because You are already everywhere I could go, kind One, gentle with the small and the humble.

You can give your best wherever you are and stop trying to out-clever life.
The deeper layer

Trust the One wherever life takes you. Jit jit laavhu tit tit lageh — wherever You place me, there I put my heart. Si-aanap sabh jaalee — I have burned away all my cleverness. That means setting down anxious plans to outsmart life.

Think of a new kid in class who stops worrying about fitting in and just joins the game. Things get easier at once.

Then: jat kat tum bharpoor hahu mayray deen da-i-aalee — You fill every place, my Lord, kind to the meek. So wherever I go, You are already there. This is sahaj, easy trust, taking the place of worried planning.

A Question to Sit With

Where could you give your best effort right where you are today?
