In plain words

You were shaped out of plain clay and made into something priceless. This body, this life, is a rare and wonderful gift.

And the One gently covers over your rough spots. The One lets you shine, clean and bright.

You were made from something plain into something priceless.
The deeper layer

Your body is a gift, shaped from plain clay into something precious.

Maatee tay jin saaji-aa kar durlabh dayh means the One shaped you from clay and made this rare, priceless body. Durlabh means hard to find, rare. Think of an artist who takes a lump of clay and makes a beautiful vase. The clay was ordinary. The care made it precious.

Then comes something even kinder. Anik chhidar man meh Dhakay means the many holes, the faults, in your mind are covered over. Nirmal daristayh means you are made to look clean and pure. It is like a parent who sees your messy drawing and still hangs it on the fridge.

So the feeling here is thankfulness. We can be thankful for being alive in this body, and for the grace that keeps gently covering us.

A Question to Sit With

What is something ordinary that turned out to be precious?
