In plain words

I give myself to the people whose minds are filled with the One.

Meeting the One's people brings peace, and beside them you find yourself singing the One's praises easily, as if it were the most natural thing.

Near the One's people, goodness is contagious — beside a full heart, your own fills easily.
The deeper layer

The Guru is thankful for the people who carry the One in their hearts, because being near them makes goodness easy.

This is the Rahao, the "pause" line. It is the center of the whole shabad, the line everything else turns around.

Ha-o tin balihaarai — I am a sacrifice to them. In Gurbani this is the language of deep thanks. It means, "I would give everything for these people." It is said about the har jan, the One's people, who are awake to the One.

Being near them, praise starts to flow sahj subhaa-ay — naturally, all by itself. Think of sitting next to a friend who loves to sing. Before long you are humming too, without even deciding to.

A Question to Sit With

Who do you become a better version of yourself just by being around?
