Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The One brought all my hopes to completion once I met the Guru.

Loving the One is honored the world over, and never goes to waste.

Love given to the One is never thrown away.
The deeper layer

All hopes come true once you meet the Guru.

Sagal manorath parabh kee-ay: the One fulfilled all my hopes. Bhaytay gurdayv: once I met the Guru. Think of a seed you watered for weeks, and one morning it finally blooms.

The second line says jai jai kaar jagat meh: the One is praised all over the world. Safal jaa kee sayv: sayv means loving service, and serving the One always bears fruit. Love given this way is never wasted.
