Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The whole ground under me seems to turn beautiful, and things come out well.

Keeping the One in mind day after day, fear runs off and my confusion clears.

Keep the One in mind, and even the ground turns beautiful.
The deeper layer

When the One is on your mind, the whole world looks different.

Dharat suhaavee: the ground turns beautiful. Safal thaan: every place bears fruit. Pooran bha-ay kaam: my work comes out whole. Think of a gray morning that suddenly turns sunny, and the same street looks brand new.

The second line tells why. Bha-o naathaa bharam mit ga-i-aa: fear runs off and confusion clears. Ravi-aa nit raam: this comes from remembering the One every day.

A Question to Sit With

What makes an ordinary place feel beautiful to you?
