In plain words

Tell me — which road leads to my beautiful One?

You who already love the One, show me the way, and I will walk it.

The search begins with a humble question, asked of people who already love what you are looking for.
The deeper layer

This whole shabad is a question and its answer, and it is one of the most humble openings in the raag. The seeker does not pretend to know the way. She asks. And crucially, she asks the ones who already love — not scholars, not authorities, but people whose hearts are already turned toward the One. This is the project's understanding of Sat Sangat: you learn the way from the company of those who have found it, and you learn it partly just by being near them. The question "which road?" is the beginning of every genuine search — not "I have arrived," but "please, show me."

A Question to Sit With

Who do you know that seems to have found something real? What could you learn just by being near them?
