Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Let me sit with the boundless goodness of the One, too deep to fully reach but wonderful to reflect on.
And in the company of fellow seekers, I find myself carried across whatever felt too big to cross alone.
Paarbarahm gun agam beechaar — "contemplate the virtues of the Supreme One, unfathomable." Agam means "unreachable" — the goodness of the One is deeper than the mind can measure, yet reflecting on it (beechaar) still nourishes. Saadhoo sangam hai nistaar — "in the company of the holy is deliverance." Nistaar is being carried across, ferried over. Alone, some things feel impossible to cross; in good company, you are carried. The two lines pair depth with companionship.
What has felt too big to face on your own, but manageable once you weren't alone with it?
