In plain words

Only those truly dance who please Your Will, and who — facing the teaching — reflect on the Word.

Nanak says: they alone find the deep, effortless peace whom You bless with grace.

The dance's destination is deep, effortless peace — not the stillness of not-moving, but the poise of one danced all the way home.
The deeper layer

Where this dance ends up is deep, easy peace.

This ten-verse shabad closes by saying its main line again. Say-ee naacheh jo tuDh bhaaveh — only those truly dance who please You. They are the ones who face the Guru and think on the Word. Then it lands on grace, as this raag always does. Kaho naanak say sahj sukh paavahi — Nanak says, they find sahj, deep and easy peace. It comes to those the One looks on with grace.

Sahj is where the dance was going all along. The whole song about dancing ends in stillness. It is not the stillness of standing frozen. It is like a spinning top at its best, turning so smoothly it looks still. It is the calm of someone danced all the way home by grace. Moving and resting become the same thing.

A Question to Sit With

What would it feel like for your life to be in motion and at rest at the same time?
