In plain words

The one who faces the teaching is wholly truthful, content, and clean.

Deceit and meanness have left; they easily master their own mind. Inside, light and the essence of joy shine out, and ignorance is gone. Day and night they sing the One's praises. The One Giver of all is our only friend.

When the heart is aligned, mastering the mind isn't a grim war but a natural ease — and you're never friendless.
The deeper layer

The ninth Pauree paints the freed person's character: "truthful, content and pure," having "easily" conquered the mind. "Easily" matters — the mastery is not a grim war but the natural ease of a heart aligned with the One. And it ends on friendship: "the Lord alone is our friend." The whole portrait is of a person at peace, lit from within, befriended by the source of everything.

A Question to Sit With

What becomes 'easy' in you when you're aligned with what you most value?
