Whatever happens is by Your Will, so why should I be afraid?
Meeting You, I remember the Name and offer You my soul. When the endless One comes to mind, I'm enraptured. Who can touch the one with the Formless One on their side? Everything is under its control; no one is outside it. The True One lives in its devotees' minds. Your servants remember You, savior and protector. You are the Almighty over all; You grace us with Your glance.
The seventeenth Pauree opens with the Vaar's clearest antidote to fear: "Whatever happens is according to Your Will, so why should I be afraid?" If a good and sovereign Will governs all outcomes, fear loses its foundation. This is not fatalism but trust — the same Will that runs everything is on the devotee's side ("who can touch one who has the Formless Lord on his side?"). Fearlessness flows from whose hands hold the outcome.
What fear might loosen if you trusted that outcomes rest in good and capable hands?
