In plain words

Those who become the One's humble servants rest their minds on it in love.

Those who sing its praises through the teaching carry great good fortune.

The truest good fortune isn't lucky circumstance but a heart turned, in love, toward the One.
The deeper layer

This Devgandhaari shabad (the raag that shares Goojaree's section here) opens on its Pause line, praising those who "lovingly focus their minds" on the One. Fortune is redefined once more — not luck of circumstance but the "great good fortune" of a heart turned in love toward the One. The servant's love and the singing of praise are themselves the blessing, "recorded upon their foreheads."

A Question to Sit With

What would you count as 'good fortune' in a life? Is it circumstance, or something in the heart?
