ਮਨ ਸਗਲ ਸਿਆਨਪ ਰਹੀ ॥
man sagal si-aanap rahee.
All the cleverness of my mind is gone.
ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨਹਾਰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਓਟ ਗਹੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

The Lord and Master is the Doer, the Cause of causes; Nanak holds tight to His Support. ||1||Pause||

All the cleverness of my mind is gone.
The One is the Doer, the cause behind all causes; Nanak holds tight to its support.
Losing your cleverness can be a relief — when the One is the Doer, you no longer have to be the frantic author of every outcome.
The Pause line reports a relief: "all the cleverness of my mind is gone." This is not a loss but a liberation — the exhausting machinery of scheming and calculating has been set down, replaced by simply "holding tight to His Support."
