One's destiny awakens when one says the One's Name, through perfect good fortune.
Fruitful is that moment, Nanak, when one receives the sight of the One.
The Vaar turns to the theme of the blessed moment (P42-P44): the instant of meeting the One is "fruitful," the moment that makes a whole life worthwhile. And it comes "through perfect good fortune" — received as grace, not engineered. There is a beautiful implication here: a single true moment of meeting can redeem all the ordinary or wasted time around it. Not every moment is that moment, but when it comes, it is "fruitful" — it bears the fruit the whole life was for.
Have you had a moment that felt like it made everything worthwhile? What made it so 'fruitful'?
