In plain words

O my Master, You are beyond the farthest edge, deeper than anyone can measure. You fill the water and the land. You alone are the One, the one and only One, Lord of all creation.

You alone know all Your ways; You alone understand Yourself. Nanak says: my Lord lives in each heart, in every heart, in the home of each and every heart.

The One is too vast to measure and yet lives in every single heart.
The deeper layer

The One is too big to measure, yet lives inside every single heart.

Aprampar means beyond the beyond, farther than any edge. Bharpur rahi-aa jal thalay: the One fills the water and the land. Then the verse turns close. Ghat ghatay ghat: in each heart, in every heart.

Think of the sky. It stretches past anything you can see. Yet the same air is right here in your own breath. The One is huge beyond measure and near beyond missing, both at once.

A Question to Sit With

How can something be both far away and very close at the same time?
