ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਕਮਲੁ ਬਿਗਸੈ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਭਜਉ ਪੇਖਿ ਨੇਰੈ ॥੩॥
sant parsaad kamal bigsai gobind bhaja-o paykh nayrai. ||3||
By the Grace of the Saints, the heart-lotus blossoms forth. Vibrate and meditate on the Lord of the Universe, and see Him near at hand. ||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

By the grace of the holy ones, the lotus of my heart opens.

I remember the Lord of the World with love, and I see the One near at hand.

The awakened heart opens like a lotus and finds the One near.
The deeper layer

With the help of holy people, the heart opens like a lotus and finds the One close by.

Sant parsaad kamal bigsai: by the saints' grace, the heart-lotus blooms. Gobind bhaja-o paykh nayrai: I remember the Lord of the World and see the One near. The lotus opening is Gurbani's picture of an awakened heart. And the One is right here, near.

A Question to Sit With

What makes you feel that something good is close, not far away?
