Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

My mind loves to touch the feet of the One.

My tongue is full and happy with the One as its food, Har, Har. My eyes are content just seeing the One.

When your whole self turns toward what you love, every part of you is nourished.
The deeper layer

When every sense turns toward the One, each one is fed and content.

This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. Mayray man pareet charan parabh parsan: my mind loves to touch the One's feet. Rasnaa har har bhojan triptaanee: the tongue is satisfied with the One as food. Akhee-an ka-o santokh parabh darsan: the eyes are content with the sight of the One.

Think of a family dinner after a long day: the smell, the taste, the faces around the table. Every sense is full at once.

A Question to Sit With

Which of your senses brings you the most joy, and what fills it?
