In plain words

I can see no other support. The shelter of the One is my only hope.

I am small and poor. What prayer can I offer?

The One lives in every heart.

My mind is thirsty for the feet of the One.

Nanak says: I am called Your servant. Again and again, forever, I give myself to You.

The simplest, truest prayer is to give yourself, again and again, to what you love.
The deeper layer

With no other support in sight, the whole prayer is giving yourself to the One who lives in every heart.

Avar ot mai ko-ay na soojhai: no other support comes to mind. Ki-aa deen karay ardaas: what prayer can the humble offer? Ja-o sabh ghat parabhoo nivaas: the One already lives in every heart, so nothing needs to be explained. Parabh charnan kee man pi-aas: the mind is thirsty for the One's feet. Ha-o bal bal sad bal jaas: I give myself, again and again, forever. An empty-handed offering is the whole prayer.

A Question to Sit With

What would it feel like to give your whole heart to something good?
