In plain words

You will not keep coming and going, birth after birth. You will live in your own home deep inside, and the lotus of your heart, once hanging upside down, will blossom open.

The loud noise of ego will go quiet.

Nanak says: I sing, I sing the praises of the One, the deep ocean of everything good.

When the ego quiets, the heart opens like a flower.
The deeper layer

When the noise of ego grows quiet, the heart opens like a flower and finds its true home.

Aa-ay na jaa-ay: no more coming and going. That means no more circling through birth after birth. Basay nij aasan: you rest in your own true seat, deep inside. OoDh kamal bigsoro: the lotus of the heart, once turned upside down, now blossoms open. Picture a flower that was drooping, lifting its face to the sun.

Chhutkee ha-umai soro: the loud turmoil of ego falls silent. Then Nanak sings and sings of the One, gunee gahayro, the deep ocean of everything good.

A Question to Sit With

What helps the noise inside you settle into quiet?
