The Unstruck Melody resonates and resounds there continuously; the stream of nectar trickles down constantly. ||3||

In plain words

Hearing the Guru's Bani, my mind grew soft and soaked through, and came back to its own home deep inside.

There the unstruck music sounds and sounds, always, and a stream of nectar trickles down without stopping.

When the mind grows still, it comes home to a quiet music that was always there.
The deeper layer

Listening to the Guru's words softens the mind and brings it home to a quiet music inside.

Man darvi-aa: the mind melts and grows soft, like butter left in the sun. Nij ghar aavaigo: it comes back to its own true home, deep within.

Anhat Dhunee is the "unstruck melody," music that no hand is playing. Think of a fridge humming in a busy kitchen. It is always there, but you only hear it when the room goes quiet. This music is always sounding. We hear it when the mind grows still enough to notice. A stream of sweetness, like nectar, keeps trickling down there too.

A Question to Sit With

Where do you feel most at home inside yourself?
