In plain words

O my mind, be dyed in the love of the One, and sing.

Awe of the One has made me free of fear and clean inside. I am dyed through and through in the color of the Guru's teaching.

Awe of the One makes you fearless and colors your whole heart.
The deeper layer

Love of the One soaks into you like dye, and awe of the One leaves no room for smaller fears.

This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. Har rang raataa: dyed in the One's love, the way white cloth soaks up color all the way through. Bhai bhai traas: awe, the deep wonder you feel before something vast. That awe makes you nirmal, clean and clear, and fearless of everything else. Gurmat: the Guru's teaching, the dye itself.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you love so deeply it has changed how you see everything?
