I Give My Hands and Heart to the Good Company
ਚਰਨ ਸੰਤਹ ਮਾਥ ਮੋਰ ॥

and with my eyes, I gaze upon the Blessed Vision of their Darshan, day and night.

With my hands, I work for the Saints.
ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਮਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸੰਤ ਬਹਲ ॥੧॥
paraan man Dhan sant bahal. ||1||
I dedicate my breath of life, my mind and wealth to the Saints. ||1||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
I lay my head at the feet of the good and wise,
I look, morning and night, at the blessing of their company. My hands work for them, and I give my breath, my mind, and all I have, gladly.
Giving your hands and heart to good company is a joy, not a chore.
A whole-self offering to the sant: head, eyes (gazing at their darshan day and night), hands (working for them), and praan (breath), mind, and wealth. This is seva — glad service — described as delight, not duty.
