Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

My mind loves being among good souls.

Their good qualities settle into me, their wishes feel sweet to me, and seeing them, my heart opens like a flower.

You slowly become the qualities of the people you love to be around.
The deeper layer

The sant rub off: their gun (virtues) base — come to dwell — in the seeker's awareness; their bhaanaa (will) tastes sweet; the heart-lotus bigaas (blossoms). We become the company we keep.

A Question to Sit With

Whose good qualities have started to rub off on you?
