In plain words

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

I come to the shelter of the One who can do anything.

My whole self — heart, body, and everything I have — belongs to the One who is the reason behind everything.

When you know Whose you are, you can rest your whole self in that shelter.
The deeper layer

This opens the two-verse hymns, with its own Ik Onkar / satgur prasaad header. Sarab kalaa — all powers — and total belonging: tan man dhan offered to the kaaran karan. A short, whole-hearted handing-over.

A Question to Sit With

What would it feel like to know you completely belong somewhere safe?
