He Fills Every Place, Hidden and Plain

simar simar sadaa sukh paa-ee-ai jeevnai kaa mool.
Meditating, meditating in remembrance on Him, I have found everlasting peace. He is the source of life.

rav rahi-aa sarbatar thaa-ee sookhmo asthool. ||1||
He is all-pervading, permeating all places; He is in subtle essence and manifest form. ||1||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Remembering, remembering the One, I've found a peace that lasts — the very spring of life.

The One fills every single place, both what you can't see and what you plainly can.

The One fills every place — both what you can see and what you can't.
The deeper layer

Sookham (subtle, hidden) and asthool (manifest, plain) — the One is bharpoor, filling both. "Source of life" (jeevan pran). Remembrance yields sadaa sukh — lasting peace — because the One is truly everywhere, seen and unseen.

A Question to Sit With

What is something real and everywhere that you can't actually see?
