I fall at their feet, and always pray to them, to mercifully unite me with my Lord, the Architect of Destiny. ||2||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Blessed, blessed are the good souls who have found the One — I ask them, tell me the stories.

I fall at their feet and keep asking, kindly, please help me meet the One who shapes everything.

The people who have found something real are worth asking, and worth listening to.
The deeper layer

The devotee begs the sant (holy company) for har kathaa — the stories of the One. The posture is humble and eager, not groveling: falling at their feet is a gesture of love and learning. The One is bidhaataa, the shaper of what comes.

A Question to Sit With

Whose stories make you want to become a better person?
