Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

True is the Name of the One, and true is its shelter.

True is the Guru's Word; holding on to it, a person is carried across.

Speaking of the One who is beyond all speaking, you come home to the Endless One and never have to wander lost again.

Truth is a shelter that carries you all the way home.
The deeper layer

Everything here is sach, true and lasting: the Name, the shelter, the Word. Speaking of the One beyond all speaking (akath kathai), a person comes home, and the wandering ends.

A Question to Sit With

Where do you go, inside yourself, when you need shelter?
