ਨਿਰਭਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਹੈ ਰਖਵਾਲਾ ॥
nirbha-o satgur hai rakhvaalaa.
The Fearless True Guru is our Savior and Protector.
ਭਗਤਿ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਗੁਰ ਗੋਪਾਲਾ ॥
bhagat paraapat gur gopaalaa.
Devotional worship is obtained through the Guru, the Lord of the world.
ਧੁਨਿ ਅਨੰਦ ਅਨਾਹਦੁ ਵਾਜੈ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦਿ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੧੧॥
Dhun anand anaahad vaajai gur sabad niranjan paa-i-aa. ||11||
The blissful music of the unstruck sound current vibrates and resounds; through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, the Immaculate Lord is obtained. ||11||

The Fearless Guru is our rescuer and shelter.
Loving devotion comes through the Guru, the One of the whole world.
A joyful, never-ending music rings out, and through the Word the spotless One is found.
The Fearless One is a shelter you can always run to.
Nirbha-o: the Guru is fearless, and rakhvaalaa, a protector and shelter. Devotion flows through the Guru, and the unstruck, never-ending music (anaahad) is heard.
