Behold the Lord, both hidden and manifest, in each and every heart; the unique Lord is permeating all. ||2||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The One who fills all things arranges everything through its Hukam.
So who is near it, and who is far? No one is closer or farther than anyone else.
See the One, both hidden and out in the open, in every single heart; the one unique One is everywhere.
No one is nearer or farther from the One than anyone else.
The question who is near and who is far dissolves distance itself: the One is equally present to all. It is both gupat (hidden) and pargat (manifest), in every heart, an equality note that no one stands closer to the One than another.
A Question to Sit With
What would change if you felt just as close to the One as anyone?
