The Immaculate Naam, the Name of the Lord, permeates the nucleus of their inner being; through the Shabad, their desires are quenched. ||10||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Fortunate are those who serve the Guru.
Their hearts stay turned, always, toward the True Name.
The pure Name settles into the deepest part of them, and the restless wanting is finally satisfied.
When the Name fills you, the thirst for more grows quiet.
The nihkayval (immaculate) Naam soaks into the core of a person. Where it lives, the endless thirst is quenched from the inside.
