Without the True Guru, no one obtains intuitive wisdom.

He serves the True Lord, and is attuned to the True Shabad. The Shabad banishes egotism. ||15||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
A deep, easy wisdom comes through the Guru.
The one who turns to the Guru understands, and sinks into what is true.
Serving the truth, tuned to the living Word, they watch the proud me quietly fade.
Deep wisdom grows in the good soil of the Guru.
Sahj (natural wisdom) grows in the good soil of the Guru. Where it grows, ha-umai fades on its own.
A Question to Sit With
What good soil, or good conditions, help you grow and learn best?
