Your Almighty Command prevails throughout the nether worlds, realms and worlds of form.
ਹੁਕਮੇ ਸਾਜੇ ਹੁਕਮੇ ਢਾਹੇ ਹੁਕਮੇ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਦਾ ॥੫॥
hukmay saajay hukmay dhaahay hukmay mayl milaa-idaa. ||5||
By the Hukam of Your Command, You create, and by Your Command, You destroy. By Your Command, You unite in Union. ||5||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The great flow of the One reaches through every world there is, high and low and everywhere between.
By that same flow, worlds rise and worlds return, and by it we are gathered home.
The same flow reaches through every world, and gathers all of them home.
The Command pervades the whole cosmos, an invitation to wonder. Worlds rise and return by it, and the same flow gathers us home.
A Question to Sit With
How big do you imagine everything that exists to be?
