In plain words

Even the sense of this is mine and that is yours was set going by You.

Every creature everywhere belongs to You.

Nanak says, hold the Naam close always; through the Guru's teaching, the One comes to live in your heart.

Every creature everywhere belongs to the One who made them.
The deeper layer

Even "mine" and "yours" come from the One.

Mayraa tayraa tudh aapay kee-aa — You Yourself made the sense of mine and yours. Sabh tayray jant tayray sabh jee-aa — all creatures are Yours, and You made every being. Think of kids arguing over whose toy it is, in a house where the parents bought every toy.

Naanak naam samaal sadaa too — Nanak says, keep the Name close always. Gurmatee man vasaa-idaa — through the Guru's teaching, the One comes to live in the mind. This closes a long song of sixteen verses. Everything belongs to the One, so remember the One.

A Question to Sit With

What changes when you remember everyone belongs to the same One?
