In the body fortress, are the solidly-constructed markets.

The Gurmukh purchases the object, and takes care of it.

Meditating on the Name of the Lord, day and night, he attains the sublime, exalted status. ||15||

In plain words

Inside the castle of the body are strong, busy marketplaces. The one turned toward the teaching buys the true treasure and takes good care of it.

Keeping the Name in mind, day and night, they rise to the highest, sweetest place.

It is not enough to find the treasure; you have to tend it.
The deeper layer

The body-fortress markets return; the Gurmukh not only buys the treasure (the object, vasat) but tends it — samaalay. Meditating on the Naam day and night raises one to the exalted padvee (status).

A Question to Sit With

What good thing in your life needs tending, not just finding?
