ਹਮ ਮੂਰਖ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
ham moorakh agi-aan gi-aan kichh naahee.
I am foolish and ignorant; I have no wisdom at all.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਸਮਝ ਪੜੀ ਮਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥

From the True Guru, I have obtained understanding in my mind.

O Dear Lord, please be kind to me, and grant Your Grace; let me be committed to serving the True Guru. ||14||

I am foolish and unknowing; I have no wisdom at all.
From the True Guru, understanding came into my mind. Dear One, be kind, give Your grace, and keep me serving the True Guru.
Admit you do not know, and let the Guru teach you.
Ham moorakh agi-aan — I am foolish and unknowing — is an honest admission of empty hands. Understanding (samajh) comes into the mind from the True Guru, and the answer is a prayer for kindness and for a life of service.
