Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Those blessed with greatness by the First One have the True Guru living in their minds, and their hearts stay fixed there.
The Giver of life to the world comes to meet them. Nanak says: they melt into the One's embrace.
With the Guru in your mind, the Giver of life comes to meet you.
Jagjeevan daataa is the Giver of life to the whole world. Ank samaa-ee means absorbed into the embrace (ank is the lap or fold of the arms). Those blessed from the start keep the True Guru in their minds, and the Giver of life comes to meet them and holds them close.
