The One Feeds Even the Tiny

naa kar chint chintaa hai kartay.
Don't worry - let the Creator take care of it.
har dayvai jal thal jantaa sabh-tai.
The Lord gives to all creatures in the water and on the land.
achint daan day-ay parabh mayraa vich paathar keet pakhaanee hay. ||6||
My God bestows His blessings without being asked, even to worms in soil and stones. ||6||

In plain words

I do not have to carry all my worry. The Creator is already carrying it.

The One gives to every creature, on land and in water.

My God gives without even being asked, even to a tiny worm tucked inside a stone.

The One feeds even a worm inside a stone — you are not forgotten.
The deeper layer

Naa kar chint chintaa hai kartay means do not worry; the worry belongs to the Creator. You do not have to carry it all yourself.

The One gives to every creature, in water and on land. Achint daan means a gift given before you even ask. That is what grace is. It is like a parent who packs your lunch before you remember you will be hungry.

Then comes a bold picture: vich paathar keet pakhaanee. The One feeds even a tiny worm living inside a stone. If that tiny worm is looked after, so are we. The One's care reaches absolutely everything.

A Question to Sit With

What worry could you set down if you trusted you would be taken care of?
