My Lord and Master is my best friend.
ਥਾਨ ਥਨੰਤਰਿ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥
thaan thanantar antarjaamee.
The Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, is in all places and interspaces.
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਗਣਤ ਮਿਟਾਈ ਹੇ ॥੮॥

Meditating, meditating in remembrance on the Perfect Transcendent Lord, I am rid of all anxieties and calculations. ||8||

My truest friend is the One, who knows my heart from the inside.
That One fills every place there is — no gap, no corner left out. Remembering the One again and again, my worries and my endless counting just melt away.
When the Friend is everywhere, worry runs out of places to hide.
