The great Master is beyond reach and beyond measure.
How can anyone meet the One, who needs nothing?
When the One cuts away the rope that binds someone and sets them on the path, they find a home in the Sangat.
When the One cuts the rope that binds you, you find your place in the Sangat.
Vadaa saahib agam athaahaa — the Great One is beyond reach and beyond measure, vayparvaahaa (self-sufficient, needing nothing). How could one meet such a One? The answer: by being placed on the path. Kaat silak means cutting away the noose from the neck, the rope that binds.
What follows is belonging: vich sangat vaasaa — a home in the Sangat, people gathered together to remember the One.
