Please bless me with the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, to satisfy my mind, O Lord. Through the Kirtan of Your Praises, my mind is held steady. ||9||

A beggar asks for a gift at the One's door.
When it pleases the One, the One is kind.
Let me see You, so my mind is satisfied. Singing Your praises holds my mind steady.
Ask at the One's door; singing the One's praises steadies a restless mind.
Ik jaachik mangai daan du-aarai — a beggar asks for a gift at the door, with empty hands. Jaa parabh bhaavai taa kirpaa Dhaarai — when it pleases the One, kindness comes. The prayer is for daras, a glimpse of the One that satisfies the mind. And har keertan man thehraa-idaa: singing the One's praises holds a restless mind steady.
