Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

My Master has become kind to me.

I have seen the Perfect True Guru.

I have found peace, poise and joy that last; Nanak says, I am the servant of Your servants.

When the One turns toward you with kindness, a lasting, easy peace opens up.
The deeper layer

The One becomes merciful, and the sight of the Perfect True Guru is received. What follows is sookh sahj aanand — peace, natural poise, and lasting bliss. The closing daas dasaa-inaa, servant of Your servants, is a glad wish to belong among the devoted.

A Question to Sit With

What does a steady, easy peace feel like in your own body?
