Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

You belong to everyone, and everyone belongs to You, my true, deep Master.

Nanak says, the ones who please Your mind are lifted high.

You belong to all, and all belong to You — no one is left outside.
The deeper layer

Universal belonging comes last: too sabhnaa kaa, sabh ko tayraa — You belong to all, and all belong to You, the true and deep One. Those who are ootam, exalted, are simply the ones dear to the One — whose hearts have grown close. Belonging, not favoritism, is the closing note.

A Question to Sit With

What changes when you remember that everyone belongs, including you?
