Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

All sixteen powers, every perfection and every reward are received

when the Master of endless power is revealed.

Nanak says, the Naam is my joy, my play, my peace; I drink in the sweet nectar of the One.

When the One is revealed, everything is full.
The deeper layer

'Solah kalaa sampooran' (the sixteen powers, complete) uses the ancient image of the full moon's sixteen phases: total fullness. Maaroo, the raag of the battlefield, closes this shabad not in struggle but in overflowing sweetness ('amrit ras').

A Question to Sit With

When have you felt completely full, with nothing you needed to add?
