The Archer who draws the bow, the Beloved Lord God; I cannot count all His limbs. ||11||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Robed in gold, the treasure of all three worlds, and with my own mouth I get to sing the Naam.
Beloved, holder of the great bow, dear to me as the beloved Bithal of the old bhakti songs.
There is simply more here than I could ever count or name.
The good you can name is only a small part of all there is to love.
Singing the Naam is a joy, and there is always more of the One than anyone can count.
Mukh bhanee, I say it with my mouth: getting to sing the Naam is a gift. Beethulaa is Bithal, the name Namdev loved. Then comes a glad overflow: mai ganat na aavai, I cannot count it all.
A Question to Sit With
What is something you love that is bigger than words can hold?
