Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The One who steps in to protect a person's dignity when others would strip it away.

Full of joy and play, holding nothing back, needing nothing.

Free and glad, and always on the side of the one being wronged.

The One always stands with whoever is being wronged.
The deeper layer

The One protects the dignity of the person being wronged.

Daropatee lajaa nivaar: in the old story, Draupadi was shamed before a crowd, and her honor was guarded. Anad binodee nihsangaa means joyful, playful, and free of every tie.

A Question to Sit With

When have you seen someone stand up for a person being treated unfairly?
