Let what is earned righteously be your blessed food.

Wash away pollution with the river of your heart.

One who realizes the Prophet attains heaven. Azraa-eel, the Messenger of Death, does not cast him into hell. ||11||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Let the food on your plate be what you have earned honestly.
Wash the dust off your heart in the clear river inside you.
Whoever knows the Prophet reaches paradise, and Azraa-eel, the angel of death, does not throw that one into hell.
An honestly earned meal and a clean heart fear nothing.
Honest earning and a heart washed clean from the inside. 'Azraa-eel' is the angel who comes at death, and 'doj' is hell; for one who knows the Prophet, neither holds any dread.
