In plain words

The bravest heroes are those who wrestle with their own minds.

They come to know themselves, and stay joined with the One.

This is the glory of the wise: they conquer their own minds by grace, and in doing so they win the whole world.

The bravest victory is the one you win over your own mind.
The deeper layer

The eighth Pauree (||8||), a keynote of Raag Maaroo. This is the raag of the warrior, but the only battle worth winning is the inner one. The soorma (hero) is redefined: not one who defeats an enemy, but one who masters the ego. 'Conquering the mind' is the sole conquest praised.
