The Creator inscribes upon it the inscription of its destiny.

In plain words

A mother and father together, and a new life begins, a body, a breath, a story.

Woven in from the start are gifts, an inner light, a quiet greatness.

But when I get tangled only in getting and having, I forget that light is even there.

You were born carrying a light; the work is remembering it is there.
The deeper layer

Maya here is not evil matter but the pull to mistake the passing show for the whole of reality, and that pull can make us forget the jot, the inner light we were born carrying. The gift is there from birth; the forgetting is something to wake up from.

A Question to Sit With

What is a gift inside you that you sometimes forget you have?
