The Perfect Guru has implanted the Naam within me; the Lord is my support - I celebrate the Lord. ||1||Pause||

In plain words

O my mind, my dear friend, the Naam is my wealth, all I have to trade with.

The perfect Guru planted the Naam firmly in me; the One is my support, and I celebrate the One.

Real riches are the ones no one can take.
The deeper layer

The Naam is my true wealth, and the Guru planted it deep inside me.

This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. The heart is called man pi-aari-aa mitraa, my dear friend, my mind. It says the Name is my dhan raas, my true wealth. The perfect Teacher set it firmly inside, naam drirh-aa-i-aa.

Now the One is dheerak, my steady support, and the heart celebrates. Think of a savings jar a grandparent started for you. It keeps growing, and it helps you feel steady. The Name is a wealth like that, and it never runs out.

A Question to Sit With

What is something valuable to you that is not money?
